Your customers are lucky; around here where I live, I cannot even get the kind of pies you sell, unless I make for myself. I think the price you charge is fair. Good luck with your baking business.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21604084.post-874607796786401782007-05-30T17:43:00.000-04:002007-05-30T17:43:00.000-04:00Thanks for your support, gang! Thus, I will make more pies for next week's market and try just to ignore the haters. ;-)

--GinaJoy Bugaloohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03357079523912829719noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21604084.post-26566633559550850642007-05-30T11:44:00.000-04:002007-05-30T11:44:00.000-04:00I've seen pies on the Food Network that sell for $...I've seen pies on the Food Network that sell for $20-$30, maybe even more. $13 isn't too excessive. The Cookbook Junkiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04800004451856078252noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21604084.post-10725967182159120242007-05-28T14:21:00.000-04:002007-05-28T14:21:00.000-04:00Old people can be such grumps. On the bus the other day the driver started to pull away as this one old lady's bum was about to touch the seat, and she FREAKED OUT and started cussing him out really loudly.

Seriously - that pie looks to be worth about $25 to me! And if he thought it was overpriced, all he had to do was NOT BUY IT.

grumble grumble on your behalf.Just some girlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16895592912130166725noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21604084.post-8428428457630441042007-05-28T09:10:00.000-04:002007-05-28T09:10:00.000-04:00I bought that Dutch Apple Pie from Gina this weeke...I bought that Dutch Apple Pie from Gina this weekend. We had relatives visiting from ROchester and Albany, and everyone thought it was the best apple pie they've had. Then they decided they need another as soon as we can arrange it. So.... $13 may be too much for some, but well worth it for others. Don't let the complainers get you down!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21604084.post-59012903477846012002007-05-28T08:43:00.000-04:002007-05-28T08:43:00.000-04:00I know, its so annoying when ppl complain about pr...I know, its so annoying when ppl complain about prices of homeade food. I cooked for a client a few weeks ago. I made them baby back ribs( 5.99lb) a huge 9x 13 pan of baked beans( which also contained pineapple, french friend onion rings, etc, etc) and french potato salad. I had to charge them 60 bucks because the cost of the ingredients were 30.00. I need to at least double my cost and so should you. They didnt complain though, but I felt so bad.Randihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06706134539834283798noreply@blogger.com
